Learning What Works ®

Face Valu - Learning What Works: Model (McKendall-Stephens, 2001)

Our Learning What Works® evaluation model connects program theory and program design with program evaluation. This approach emphasizes the importance of integrating evaluation, reflection and learning and embedding them in organizational process and expectations. We partner with programs and organizations to examine implementation, define and capture progress, discover lessons learned and use those lessons to support decisions making and effective action.

Face Valu’s Learning What Works® model was developed by Vanessa McKendall-Stephens and has been applied in various contexts:

  • Access & Equity
  • Building Organizational Evaluation Capacity and Use
  • Theory-Based Evaluation Design and Implication
  • Reflective Practice to Support Learning What Works
  • Monitoring and Evaluating Progress
  • Evaluation Coaching
